Established in 2017 under the flagship of the Siliguri Tarai Educational Welfare Society (STEWS).
Siliguri Primary Teachers' Training College & Siliguri Terai B.Ed College was established in the year 2017 under the flagship of the Siliguri Tarai Educational Welfare Society (STEWS), a society registered under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act, 1961 in the Terai region of North Bengal, and is one of the premier teacher training colleges.
We are in a constant endeavour to provide quality education to the socially and economically weaker sections of society so that they are able to achieve professional excellence and financial independence and establish themselves as important contributors to society. By using all the contemporary technological advancements, we provide student-centric teaching-learning to our students and make them equipped with all the tools to form and establish their careers.
Siliguri Primary Teachers' Training College (SPTTC) offers a 2-year D.El.Ed course and is affiliated by the West Bengal Board of Primary Education (WBBPE). Our medium of instruction includes English, Hindi and Bengali.
Siliguri Terai B.Ed College (STBC) offers a 2-year B.Ed course divided into four semesters and is affiliated by Baba Saheb Ambedkar Education University (BSAEU). STBC offers a plethora of subjects to develop the pedagogical knowledge of the students.
